Educational Outcome Analysis Using Maine's Wage

As the research arm of the Maine Department of Labor (MDOL), the Center for Workforce Research and Information (CWRI) extracts demographic and participation data from a variety of program and administrative data bases maintained by govern- mental, non-profit and education and training institutions. In a quest to secure outcomes data and formulate measures of ac- countability, these institutions and programs have entered into agreements with CWRI to link their data with longitudinal data systems tracking employment, earnings and educational outcomes. By joining these data sets, CWRI is able to provide a rich- er, more comprehensive analysis in a cost effective manner.
