APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT

An apparatus for treating wastewater comprising a chamber consisting of a bioreactor wherein wastewater is treated with microorganisms; said chamber is provided with an inlet adapted to introduce waste water into said chamber, an outlet for transferring treated waste water from said chamber; electrode assembly for introducing electrical charges in the wastewater; and characterized in that said electrode assembly is provided in a flow channel between said inlet and said chamber in a manner that it prevents the obstruction in the flow of wastewater through the flow channel.
