自動紙送り機

An automatic paper feeder capable of both continuous paper feeding and automatic paper feeding of thick paper documents is provided. An automatic paper feeder includes a horizontal paper feed path having a paper feed port for thick paper on one side and a paper discharge port on the other side, and a horizontal paper feed path connected to the paper feed port on one side and horizontal paper on the other side. A paper feed transport path communicating with the feed transport path and forming a curved portion together with the horizontal paper feed transport path, a scanning device positioned between the curved portion and the paper ejection port, a motor, and a paper document feeder. a movable paper guide member for conveying paper from a paper conveying path to a horizontal paper conveying path; an actuator member pressed against the movable paper guide member and movably pivoted; and a motor, a paper feed roller, and an actuator member for transmitting torque. and a transmission structure connected between and, when the motor outputs torque in the opposite direction, the actuator member moves the movable paper guide member away from the horizontal paper feed path.
